The historical period and settings promised much more, even if not particulary for the Spanish-speaking world, writ large. As it is, although some of the dialogue is fun and even interesting, the characters are quite flat and their historical and geographic contexts are are very poorly developed. Faszinierende Handlung und Charaktere, regt zum Nachdenken an, Bewunderung für den Autor, der anscheinend über ein enormes Wissen verfügt. Ich werde es definitiv nochmal lesen.
